organization NOT to start a wine club. Let’s see – do you really
know of any major organization that does NOT have a wine club.
It seems like if you are in the print business you, mandatorily,
must start a wine club.
All we want to know is one of two things from those
getting into this business. Are you getting one FREE bottle for
every so many your “club” members buy? Or, is this turned out to
be convenient way for the wineries to get rid of their inventory
at huge discounts without the general public figuring it out?
And speaking of which, last random thought, if you are
drinking a wine that has cost you $25 for the bottle, that’s a
$1 an ounce. Obviously, a $100 bottle of wine amounts to $4 an
ounce. Compared to beer which average from $.75 to $1 a bottle
or cents per ounce and you realize you are really drinking
liquid gold or least silver. So maybe you should put away that
pouting face when gasoline prices zoom up to $3 a gallon since
your wine habit is probably 3 to 21 times more expensive than
gas…………and a lot more pleasurable!
